lol the over complication here is hilarious. I bought my first btc in 2021 and immediately understood sats. I think I switched all my apps to showing sats in 2022 and haven’t gone back since. If you understand Bitcoin at any level, you understand sats
Personally I don't give a dime, a BenjamΓn or a red cent to creative, artistic terms for money. The metric system is so logical. Hundreds, tens and units are easy to handle and visualise. Stick to similar: Bitcoin, something and Sats. Any other term is just noise and will create barriers to adoption of a money that is supposed to be plain, simple truth.
Exactly. I would really appreciate us not pretending this is anything other than peasant mentality people trying to stop other peasant people buying XRP due to unit bias. Rich people like scarce things. 2.1 quadrillion bitcoin has shitcoin written all over it. Not to mention we have spent years telling the world there will only be 21m bitcoin, and then we just go.... "Only kidding, now we have 2.1 quadrillion" And one last point; "the base unit in the code has no decimal" is pure retardation. That's like saying there is no such thing as words, there are only letters, so now we call words, letters too. Bring back 2018 when we all called each other retards, so we didn't have to live as one 🀣
