GM y'all, can you pls send me some of your favorite non-bitcoin focused npubs that don't have as many followers as you'd expect? Maybe keep it less than a few hundred follows.. #asknostr I keep seeing posts about recruiting more people from other social media to post about things other than bitcoin on nostr. The problem with that is there are already so many on here doing that but posting into the void at times. It reminds me of the company that only hires externally and doesn't promote from within. Or the sales department that only goes after the glengarry leads instead of nurturing the sale that was already made.. Yea boosting and quoting others' posts is helpful, but we're gonna need to be proactive about sharing people we find valuable. Its telling that there's a bunch of likes on this post but only 2 people have actually taken the time to share their favorite follows. Not a great sign for the viability of nostr for young accounts that aren't already big on some other social media. Most of those get pumped by the larger accounts (then those new people eventually disappear after posting and ghosting doesn't get as much engagement as on the algos)

I’m a newbie and will probably be posting more about #books and cosy #hobbies 🥰 I am a Comp Sci teacher by day but very new to bitcoin and am interested in finding supportive community with similar interests. I have a small business where I make digital templates and spreadsheets so might talk a bit about that and personal finance too image

What a list! You should definitely post a pic of all the books you are reading 😁 I sometimes read multiple books at once like what you’re doing but not this time around. Psychology of money is a great read and I think am due for a re-read, what is the inheritance cycle about? The book I’m reading is available everywhere from Amazon to Barnes & Noble. Definitely is interesting to say the least and have learnt tons from it

Oh so glad to hear you liked Psych of Money! Only a chapter or so in but already finding it valuable. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini is a fantasy series about a boy who becomes one of the last Dragon Riders. We both read them as teens and seeing if they hold up now that we’re older hehe, am enjoying the dragons 🐉 ✨ I’ll post a reading update and talk a but more about the other books I’m reading soon!
