This is a good one. Kind of breaks my brain. Immediate thought is to go out and create more. Could the quote be a double meaning? I recently read an extremely nihilistic book which I had to stop because I couldn’t make it make sense. It was The Conspiracy Against The Human Race by Thomas Ligotti. The idea is existence is worse than not existing. I just couldn’t even fathom the idea. I think that’s the antithesis of this quote. Not destruction, but anti-creation, which is not in human nature.
