They're already sneaking ads into ad free versions of services by simply calling the ad something else (trailer, sponsorship, etc). I'm just canceling the shit. It's gotten ridiculous and honestly I get why people pirate. You pay and just get continuously fucked.
It occurred to me today that this is my last year in emergency medicine. It's hard to explain, but it's a moment where your entire being tells you what's going to happen. Like I didn't have a choice, even though logically I know I do.
I'm done. Let the bleeding hearts have it. Interestingly, they never seem to be around dealing the fallout of their own fuck ups. But they're always there to wag their fingers and tell us how much compassion we should have. Pass.
