They're already sneaking ads into ad free versions of services by simply calling the ad something else (trailer, sponsorship, etc). I'm just canceling the shit. It's gotten ridiculous and honestly I get why people pirate. You pay and just get continuously fucked.

I'd rather see it used for direct to consumer sales than just fucking over the people who invest their time, energy, and money into creating entertainment and art. So not needing a Netflix or whatever to get your product in front of people.
