Yes, but then there's also the problem of mining centralization. Which is an issue. Mining pools can centralize control, effectively becoming keys to writing on the Bitcoin chain. I do think the current market dynamics, i.e West vs East, will allow Bitcoin to remain decentralized and also mining software like Datum/Stratum V2 will help immensely, but this is an and will always be an issue. In other words, there's details that are fundamental to truly understand if one is to dive unto Bitcoin. This post by @npub1lh27...a9nk explain it very well:
