"I think it's really a decision, it's just not a matter of developers coming to it and developing for it; it's a matter of people using it." "Even if you are not a developer and you believe in the concepts and philosophies of bitcoin, you truly believe in anti-censorship, you truly believe in freedom technology, then you have to show it; you have to be there, be present and put up with all the warps that exist in it right now. You have to help address it and fix it, it's the only way that it's going to take hold." β€” @jack re: Nostr at @npub1h493...4cwz.
He makes an interesting observation: some of the most powerful features of Twitter as a protocol were invented by the community, not by devs. The @ in front of the name, the hash tag, the retweet. Invented by a non-dev, picked up and propagated by the users. These examples make the case that I am trying to champion: web of trust must curate our digital tools of communication. It’s why I’m writing the tapestry protocol: to make this idea explicit and to prove that it is possible. Decentralized digital languages ftw.
You can t bullshit everyone Mr "diddy party" There a lot that know how this work : Head you win, tail we losse. Twitter or Nostr. Nostr is bad at putting npub in charge of all. It all about another tech business and how to attract people and milk them. Lets see if many will leave a blue check for a total track data check. LN and nostr are not for freedom.
