The scene in the Knesset with Trump is like watching the inverse of a war crimes tribunal. The leaders and facilitators of the Gaza genocide are congratulating each other and applauding their crimes.

NY Times interviewed 4 Palestinians in Gaza & ran this headline: "Many Palestinians Say Hamas Must Accept Cease-Fire Plan." A public opinion poll in Gaza released Oct. 2 found only 8% fully support Trump's plan, 18% reject it, 25% strongly oppose and 41% want amendments.

A source close to the Palestinian negotiators told me Hamas asked for clarifications on 3 main issues: Aid distribution, the terms of Israeli withdrawal and the language on U.S. guarantees regarding extending the ceasefire beyond 60 days in order to achieve a permanent ceasefire.

Seems there is some motion now and possibility of new indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel about a ceasefire. Israel claims it is a result of military “pressure.” More likely it’s because Hamas has held the line on its stance & everyone sees Netanyahu’s sabotage game.
