2 of the journalists who were with Shireen Abu Akleh in Jenin when she was killed by an Israeli sniper 5/11/22 are in prison: Ali al-Samoudi (arrested 4/29/25) was shot in the shoulder. Mujahid al-Saadi (arrested 9/19/24) survived by jumping over a low wall. Both now behind bars.

Journalist Ali al-Samoudi has been sentenced to 6 months administrative detention by an Israeli court. Israeli troops raided his home on April 29, badly beat him & took him to a military barracks in Jenin, then to al-Jalameh jail, then to Megiddo prison where he is currently held
