It’s a sobering realisation when it clicks that the only reason you pay taxes is that the government has a monopoly on violence. Then it really sinks in when you connect it to the mafia and a protection racket.

Having a weird feeling. I recently discovered @Quds News Network on nostr. I’d know about them during the genocide of Palestine. The weird thing is they’re now posting about 2,3,4,5 people killed by Israel but it’s not having the same effect as when Israel was. Killing 10, 100, 1000 Palestinians. It scares me that murder has become normalised in my mind and 2,3,4,5 no longer affects me that much. That scares me shitless. Murder is always wrong but I’m not feeling it the same way. I’m being conditioned.

I don’t publish much on nostr but I’m quite happy scrolling and zapping and reposting. I just find the stuff on here interesting. It’s not trying to get me riled-up. It’s nice #nostr #grownostr

I’m beginning to this AI thing is a con. I was going to Japan on holiday and asked it for recommendations where to get puzzle boxes (who doesn’t want puzzle boxes??). Gave me the wrong websites. Gave me closed shops. Gave the same shop 2 times. Also asked it to check an address I wanted to drive to. Gave me an address but luckily I checked before I put it in the GPS. Completely wrong! Now I have double check everything it tells me and even if it sounds correct I didn’t believe it.
