It's fun, actually. And you get a self esteem boost. I made a little kit with some thread, a set of needles, little scissors, etc. you actually don't need much for basic manding besides the needle, thread, threadripper, and scissors. And a pincushion and pins for bigger tasks.

Oh yeah I got everything needed packed in a Altoids tin… Have I used it to fix the 3 pairs of pants that need fixing… Nope… Could I use either of the 2 sewing machines that are in the house… Nope… This sort of stuff needs to be changed and practiced…

I'll tell you that the pants I fixed today have had holes in them for like 6 months. It's never too late!
