#Vertex coming to you on #SatShoot this autumn.
Also, I believe that at least in the marketplace usecase like SatShoot, the right way to introduce this feature is as a premium introduction service.
1. In addition to freealance-scoped follows, User has a naive #WoT calculated client-side every couple of hours, and an opt-in WoT from SatShoot's npub that can be switched off but helps in bootstrapping
2. The user will have additional lists of people he trusts e.g. from communities' members-lists or other nip51 lists
3. If this is not enough to introduce the parties, Vertex comes into play, trying to find reputable followers of the party that is analyzed. This is important for marketplace actors, who always try to grab opportunities but want to get rid of potential bad actors as well.
They will pay the fee, and it will be worth their sats.
A successful outcome means the new counterparty can be added to the freelance follows and other lists possibly.
P.S.: A naive 2-step wot with follows, mutes and reports is like 10-20 seconds to produce rather than minutes, it's more about the limit of reach than anything else.

@ODELL
In which, Odell can be heard saying, βproof of work will never work.β
I think the future of content filtering is this:
- my personal self-hosted AI scrapes all notes and sorts/filters based on my personal algorithm and uploads to my one relay that displays notes to my app.
AI is gonna put a lot of people looking for different work.
Just listened this episode and @ODELL briefly mentioned that verifying signatures for all events is costly but that you could check the signature of a particular event manually by checking the event's raw data from the @primal app. Could the app do the verification for a single event on user demand, i.e. add "Verify event signature" in the event's menu?
