URL in status is cool and all but you have no idea where it takes you. Not good for security and ripe for abuse.
Am I missing something?!

You can put URLs in any note? Doesn’t it come down more to who do you trust, who do you follow?
self diligence, self moderation and common sense? Liberty comes with taking on responsibility for your own actions 😉
I get all that and agree, but not everyone is diligent or even knows about this and they can get screwed with an innocent mistap
