Why should she be afraid of an immigration agent? She is a citizen and an immigration agent has no police authority over a citizen.
Should I be afraid of an ice agent? They have no legitimate power over me.
See this op for what is fellas. Both sides are being fed material by the algorithms to radicalize and spread hate, fear, and more insane actions like this. End game: DID and Surveillance State will be the new govt and then nobody wins - no American citizen will have any rights to protect anymore because they'll be long gone. Not too late yet imo, but getting scarily close if more people don't see this division and hate insurgency operation for what it is.
Now for the situation you pictured above:
The operation targeted alleged fraud in a small American community and involved over 2,000 agents. It had nothing to do with Good; apparently Good was someone who hates ICE and was allegedly attempting to alert locals to the raid.
It is obvious that Good should not have tried to flee, and it's obvious the officer should not have shot her. The agent who shot her had previously been injured by another person fleeing an immigration raid: his arm was pinned to a vehicle and he was hospitalized after being dragged roughly 100 yards in June 2025.
This whole thing is unnecessarily tragic and results from escalating tensions between Americans. If people want to know what a modern civil war looks like, it looks like this. Barricades have gone up in Minneapolis, creating autonomous zones reminiscent of the CHAZ in Seattle β which did not work out.
Everyone right now is picking a side, and everyone is convinced they are right. They believe the political side they didn't vote for is completely illegitimate to the point that they will obstruct, resist, and put themselves in harm's way. We have a Second Amendment for a reason: to resist a tyrannical government. If Good felt prepared to pay with her life to resist the government, that was her choice. But that means she β and likely many others β have completely given up on democracy, which I do not think is where we are.
After watching the video repeatedly, I do not think the officer should have shot. Still, it is extremely risky to flee in a vehicle when federal agents have their guns drawn and are surrounding your car. Comply: put your hands up, follow instructions, and use the media and political system to make your voice heard. If people already think we have already crossed a line where we need to resist the Federal government, we are in for a world of hurt. You don't have to look far around the world to see how bad things can get.
