I have a Kaweco fountain pen and I really like it and I use very simple ballpoint pens from bic
Also using kaweco! Have one of their sport series and served me very well
I have a Waterman Expert I really like. Can't go wrong with LAMY pens either.
I use mostly black wings for important notes and Sheaffer Targa, PenBBS
Righty or lefty?
Fountain pen or ballpoint/gel?
Everyday use or special purpose?
Budget?
Also tagging @The Pentographer and @npub1qcnu...u2np
1. Right
2. Ballpoint/gel
3/4. Everyday use, it shouldnโt hurt *too* much to lose it
I have a pretty good set I already use but I want to discover interesting stuff everyone is using.
These are my favorites. I use these daily and have bought them for years. I'm including a pencil, also, because you should try one of these newfangled ones.

Pencil and 2B lead, which is softer and darker than the standard stuff, and oh so nice to write with: https://www.jetpens.com/Uni-Kuru-Toga-Advance-Mechanical-Pencil-0.7-mm-Navy/pd/26199

Gonna admit here that I know next to nothing about non fountain pens.
G2 gel pens are pretty cool I guess.
Retro 1951 have some nice looking pen bodies.

What I use because fun...

@semisol this should not be ruled out, either. I bought her the pen body and a ton of gel inserts. They are QUALITY, not that old multi-color ballpoint crap.

I'm currently running three gel pens. They're all Uniball.
I've got two Uniball Zento, one American black ink .7 and one Japanese black ink .5. The third is a Uniball One black ink .7.
I love these pens. They're very good for a cheaper everyday carry. The American bodies are plastic and will take some beating, but don't let them get crushed.
The Japanese Zento has a metal section in place of the plastic and if I remember correctly, it cost me around $17 CAD which makes it the most expensive of the three.
American Zentos come in sets of three for around $15 CAD or so.
