Certified “Organic” is mostly the honor system. Inspections are done once a year.
Especially If you’re buying produce from small producers. There’s just too much incentive to use effective treatments rather than lose an entire crop just to be ethical.
—Its just common sense.
🧡👊🏻🍻
That doesn't even make any sense. Hydroponic farms can enclose and do pest control. Desiccation using glyphosate is also stupid. They just want to poison you.
LOL, like people claiming to sell organic honey... Really mr farmer? You can guarantee no gmo crops or pesticides sprayed within a 2-3 mile RADIUS of your hives? Like Au9913 says, the best thing ro do is get to know your farmer/rancher!
If you look at the actual standards in order to receive the “organic” certification it is far beneath what you would envision “organic” to be. The certification process is a global scam to keep the status quo as it is, it is so expensive for a small timer to do the process and get certificated that they can’t and thus they can’t really enter the market because everyone is looking for these organic or whatever else certified. So we have to create our own ways of evidencing the source of produce, which is easy for us. This is the value, not the USDA bullshit! Who funds these guys anyway??
