The funding rule of #[0] is that the code must be open source. It is to allow others to access the code, review the code, and distribute the code for free. But the Opensats board will not look at your project code or use your product. They don't use their own rules to review funding applications. They will only reject you based on a piece of GitHub statistical waste paper. This piece of waste paper does not belong to the funding rules. It doesn't matter even if you meet all the funding rules. They just want a piece of waste paper, not the built product and code. If you like, you can use artificially created beautiful green waste paper to get funding. It doesn't matter what features and code your product has built, and it doesn't matter what users like. You can get funding with a piece of statistical waste paper. This is not a proof of work for value exchange value, this is shitcoin behavior. View quoted note →

As users of #Freerse some feedback of the things we LOVE about the client ( and which are the reasons it is one we keep coming back to) are: -NAVIGATION/ DISCOVERY through #hashtags . For starting users it makes it easy to find new people through interests. -ZAP CAPABILITY ON IOS (not the only client to do so, but still a plus) -NOTIFICATIONS BY TYPE , making it easily viewable which notes are getting which kind of love 🫶 of from who. -PREVIEW of notes before posting with easily integratable photos, videos and #gifs . - FAST LOADING: even if it seems superflous but some clients take longer at charging the feed, and specially the notifications, but Freerse is pretty fast. On the other hand, (with all the respect and support to the Freerse team and the work they have already done ✨🙌 ) we also disagree with the valuation that it’s a finished project that can’t be funded to improve. Here goes some GLITCHES and WISHLIST elements that we feel could improve the user experience and onboarding people onto #nostr : - TAGGING ISN’T WORKING , we couldn’t tag #OpenSats nor #Freerse in the app. It can’t find people efficiently. - SEARCHING FOR PEOPLE YOU KNOW BY HANDLE: as of now, when searching for people by handle it lists a ton of people with or without that handle, and sometimes even all the scammer dopplegangers; without taking into account our web-of-trust to show users first and foremost the profile they follow or that is followed by most of their network. This could be something that makes it simpler to not fall for scammers using same names and photos and who manage to get a follow or ten. - REMOVING UNWANTED PEOPLE FROM OUR DMS and the fact that the first screen when you open the app is DMS make starting the app the least interesting thing about it. DMS are still a problem in most clients so an easy way to block, mute or unsee the things you don’t want in your feed is an epic feature any client should have. But in Freerse it becomes more important due to the fact that it’s the first screen that opens. -CHANGEABILITY TO FIRST FEED APPEARANCE , after having used the app a while, i often think i would love to change the START SCREEN to the Freerse tab or the Notifications tab, since currently it’s the cleanest feed we have to the actual people we want to interact with. -TOP WISHLIST which is missing in the #nostr clients suite is being able to SCHEDULE your posts. This would be epic to be able to do on iOS devices. In any case, thank you very much for the WONDERFUL the Freerse team has done so far. It is a client with plenty of features and hope it can get the funding to make it continue to improve in this beautiful ecosystem that is still growing 🤙⚡️💜 #grownostr Good luck
Dude, stop the bitching and put this energy into writing code people will use and care about. The design space for NOSTR is ENORMOUS and it doesn't seem like your thing adds much, if anything, new. Nobody needs ANOTHER social media client.
