the connection is pointing out the dissonance between how so many people will ignore thousands of people being murdered by an actual authoritarian regime and hyperfocus on a case where a lunatic leftist white woman thought there would be no consequences for her actions, ignored orders from law enforcement and tried to run an agent down.
