Yes. Nostr is an amazing open protocol...
IPFS has intrigued me for a while. It's like Torrents but for more?! Why has this not caught on more?
IPFS was never usable. You try to run it inside a server and it will exhaust the CPU along with probing aggressively all machines in the network.
Nostr can achieve what IPFS didn't. Can make files private or public, easy for anyone to setup their own relays with data.
It would be far better than torrents because you can comment them, and distribute across global trusted relays instead of P2P to shady servers from lawyers that will sue you.
