Nope, that is called diversity in your investments and I do the same
My wife said you should sell some for something real in 2015. Buy 5 oz. silver coin for ~1.95 btc. It's still a nice shiny coin!
well gold will never crash
but good luck taking it on a plane with you after a confiscation order
Last I checked there were other means of transport.
And much better for transporting contraband.
I agree that is good fiscal health & safety. Good source of deep knowledge is PeakProsperity site run by Dr Chris Martenson. Being responsible for my own health, wealth, and safety is the way.
Yep, love Peak Prosperity, just recorded with Chris a week ago.
No.
Some will.
Some don't understand that they are going to need lead to protect BTC.
consider adding some alloys, i.e. brass.....
That's what holds the Pb in place...
No but you will likely be mad at yourself in 5 years when you bought a shiny rock at the opportunity cost of acquiring perfect money
Not me!
metal disks and cartridges! very sensible
don't forget water purification and radios
don't care as long as you don't buy into shit coin / fed coin
Copper jacketed lead is a precious metal too!
To each his own. Personally, I'll stick to the hardest asset that's ever existed - Bitcoin!
As long as you fully realize the opportunity cost with the gold/silver.
I would drop the lead. And stack #platinum
You want to own the hardest money.
If you are in a LCS. Just do a visual of the gold/silver ratio. Then, ask if you have any platinum.
(he means bullets)
Cartridges are cheap, good for barter if it comes to that, and definitely qualify as a "you'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it" item
lol. Understood. Didnβt get it the first time I read it.
How do you self custody lead?
Not mad but maybe a little disappointed you'd think that they're a better store of value.
I can understand holding some small gold & silver coins as an emergency MoE for trading.
Bitcoin maxis became maxis because they've experienced first hand what holding a weaker SoV is like.
FAFO π€
Learn about Monero, you will not regret it.

I ran a computer all weekend and managed to mine 4Β’ of Monero. Hmmm
So you say it's possible.
Absolutely not. They will under perform, but not all goals are for max gains. Do you homie.
Lead is necessary. .223 rounds are the ultimate barter items.
Handy against freedom takers too.
Bullets have been know to be the fungible currency of choice in Ukraine war zones.
According to some pithy something I read sonewhere: 45 rounds could be traded strait across for a jigger of whiskey in the old west, being the namesake for a "shot" or whiskey.
I should allow that I have not fact-checked that and it sounds like some shit aomeone would make ip on a Facebook post.
But If it is true that makes bullets in general pretty handy in turbulent times.
Iβm more mad that you thought we wouldnβt know what the elementsβ symbols were.
My grandkids are getting some of mine as they lose their baby teeth. Some fun Old TSP coins and other rounds in there.

Not mad but I would expect those to underperform vs Bitcoin HODLing.
That can be OK so long as you go into it with open eyes. What is financially optimal is not necessarily best for your overall balance of self sovereignty.
If anyone would be 'mad' about stacking metals, they probably are only in Bitcoin for the fiat price to go up, instead of seeing the bigger picture anyway.
Not everything is about getting 'rich' in fiat terms, it's about security and freedom.
Why plumbum?
At key times a plumbum deficiency can be very bad for your health
You might find it liberating to switch to a different mindset - one in which you donβt give a fuck about us being mad at you or not π
See how it goes! I have been stacking Advil.
Curious why lead?
Anyone who tells you not to diversify is probably trying to scam you
I have a friend that stacks Ag, Real Estate, Mutual Funds and Bitcoin.
They've been mining (slowly) and hodling since 2009. I think Bitcoin has paid off the best for them, as long as it doen't crash.
Stack all of the B's. Beans, bandaids, bullets, bullion, Bitcoin, bacon, bourbon, beef...
rare Lego sets will have more utility that rocks in a basement. I'm just stacking sats. Those metals will be there if/when we need them. Tick-Tock, next block ;)
