Fediverse users had to deal with a few floods of influx where new users started complaining and dictating rules en-masse before understanding where they were or the community that is present now.

There is so much potential for growth. We have to be apart of the solution not the problem

We are also untouched by an algorithm that can push narratives a certain way, or hide/silence speech. Nostr is what you make of it, and everyone that is actively using it are also contributing to it by creating communities and expanding the userbase.

sooner or later the entropy increases... everywhere. It's fine. I'm still in the process to cope with it... but in general chaos has potential and is nature.

#nostr isn’t for everyone! Yet.

I love the craziness of my feed. I followed something like 1500 random people that someone else followed that said made a good feed. I unfollowed some of the non English accounts to make the timeline kind of make sense. I have an epic feed of crazy memes, interesting art, nostr hardcore freaks, bitcoin freaks, naked chicks, and all kinds of other randomness. Way way better than algo filled engagement whores threads

“what can I do with nostr what has never been done before?” Really resonates… I also find I’ve been guilty of getting stuck at the “my content doesn’t have the same reach here so what’s the point” It’s like one has to truly take a delayed gratification stance, which is just so much easier said than done Then I ask: “what does nostr look like 5 years from now?” Vs “what does X look like 5 years from now?” It’s a pretty obvious answer in my view… but again, I have to actually action that thought Time to spend more time on Nostr!

Nostr takes some initial effort, but feel like it’s worth the grind. Your note is 💯 on point. Perseverance is key in the early stages.

Nostr is a door to the unknown, it can feel uncomfortable at times, but I think once you are passed the minor issues, you will have a vision to the infinite possibilities of this technology.

2nd. While developing my project on nostr, what started off as building it out of spite, to then realization how huge the opportunity I'm sitting on, and that's when I decided to go all in to finish it and make it great.

Nostr is fucking incredible. People still thinking it’s a shitty twatter. This is something that I’ve been thinking about personally and that’s being specific and asking good questions. I feel like Nostr and using AI requires this.

The issue is most people want convenience and really don't care about anything else and for example any information on COVID that did not agree with the mainstream narrative even from the founder of the mRNA vaccines was banned on YouTube. When I suggested why don't you use an alternative video platform such as Rumble the answer I got was a lot of excuses and it came down to well idk I'm used to YouTube. What I like about Nostr I can see everything and decide what is true and what is false without someone in a company or the government thinking I'm so stupid that they need to shove the "truth" down my throat,

Nostr is a piece of stale bread. To a person with a fridge full of food, fuck that bread. But if you’re dying of starvation, that bread looks really damn good. In a world where they’ve taken your free speech, being able to freely communicate even in the most rudimentary way, like plain text, can make all of the difference.

Almost 7 months later, same problems...

I am meeting with my advisory board on NOSTR fundraising to discuss a completely innovative mobile client we would like to build which will drive NOSTR main stream due to the value created through NOSTR. We are also meeting in San Diego to discuss strategies and ideas with our NOSTR client and other innovative interoperable clients. In other words it seems to me that because of interoperability we should be able to create completely new clients that focus on key value props which other clients that are not interoperable are unable to do. I could be wrong but it does not seem like I am wrong but my board will let me know. We are staying at the Marriott vacation club and would love to have you join us Calle to help guide us, provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, insights, and help us lay out the build with insights we might miss. Free drinks, food, and more🙂 for anyone knowledgeable in NOSTR dev to join our brainstorming and whiteboard session on the 11th floor bar from the 24th - 28th this month. One proposal is to let Elon buy the concept and set up NOSTR fundraising client through X and promote DOGE through NOSTR and give rebates from fraud and abuse through NOSTR with bitcoin or ecash for a new level of public key/private key tech ideas which seems to be one area where Elon is unaware and certainly most of the Trump cabinet is not considering. Either way we highly respect you Calle and love what you are doing and wanted to let you know we are working hard to fix the world through NOSTR fundraising 🙂
