ASUS is an amazing brand it's one of those brands where you shouldn't look at the price and just buy it i never bought anything from Asus and later think the price premium wasn't worth it and many of their products have no competition at all fuck Gamers Nexus he just hates on all large corporations like Dell and Asus. but reality is they are big for a reason - because their products are better. small companies are mainly for idiots who when they have a problem are too ashamed to admit it. big companies are publicly trashed by everybody but in reality their problem rate is much lower.

ultimately you have to trust your own experience not what somebody ( me ) says online. to me Dell's service was stellar but i switched to Asus anyway because Dell didn't have anything comparable to the Asus product. if Dell had a thin laptop that can run top Nvidia GPU at full TDP without getting hot or loud i would have gotten a Dell, but even Razer couldn't do it - only Asus ( Rog Zephyrus Duo ) it's the only laptop where you can play for hours and your hands never have to rest on anything hot because they moved the keyboard away from the hot components and put an air intake on top of the hottest part of the laptop thus shielding you from the heat. it blows crazy hot air out of 4 vents on 3 sides of the laptop but if you use the touch pad you don't feel any of it. if you use a mouse you do feel one of the vents blowing hot air at your hand which is something they should redesign in the future. on a small desk that could be uncomfortable. if you have space to put the mouse a bit away from the laptop it's fine obv.
