The EU initiative Going Dark has now been launched by the EU Commission. They call it ProtectEU.
It’s a rebranding of Chat Control. New name. Same old propaganda.
The EU Commission’s goal is to “access encrypted data in a lawful manner, safeguarding cybersecurity and fundamental rights.”

Not just #ChatControl.
Can't wait for #Orban, and consequently #Putin, to get hold of this:
»This will enable secure #automated exchanges of #fingerprints, #DNA profiles, #vehicle registration data, #facial images, and police #records through EU routers. At national level, Member States need to implement the Information Exchange Directive enhancing information exchange channels for seamless cross-border information flow, while ensuring their integration with Union-level systems, such as SIENA«

False refugies enter EU every single day many without valid documentation and in the paper you can read: “Member States are urged to: enhance biometric checks and conduct mandatory systematic checks at EU external borders make full use of the European Judicial Counter-terrorism Register”. I am an European but these gangs that are ruling the EU are nuts.
@npub1n0mq...z5ld So how do we force our "representatives" to pass a law that makes these kinds of initiatives illegal? If not, they'll just keep trying, becoming sneakier and sneakier until it's the kind of covert drivel we laugh at the US for doing.
As an American dude, I cannot imagine how bad things are going at the hands of collectivists who want to know everything one is up to.
Especially since bad OPSEC is at an all-time high nowadays, because people are NOT using almost exclusively FLOSS like I have for over 4 years.
the eu(ssr) is an illegal satanic unelected organization
they can fck themselves
@npub1n0mq...z5ld Hey @npub1hyku...3p33, seems the @npub19ly5...y4lk is trying to slide another "nerd harder" surveillance bill https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A52025PC0148
Assim para garantir a segurança no ciberespaço e os direitos fundamentais, a UE propõe violar a segurança ciberespaço e os direitos fundamentais.

Isn't privacy a fundamental right? 🤔
If it's not, it should be!

One aspect of watching the crowd is manipulation.
If they can't see what we are discussing, they loose the feedback in their manipulation scheme. Then they risk pushing to hard, and people will see the manipulation.
They are not interested in if we are discussing illegal stuff or not, but if we are discussing them!
They know the masses ain't going to take much more. Tbh I'm surprised they've taken this much.
LOL "Access encrypted data in a lawful manner" 🤣 🤣 🤣
Someone should explain them the difference between "Don't Be Evil" and "Can't Be Evil" ...

Zionists
That means they can enforce apps like Signal etc?
That will kill them. They'll exit the European market. If it's not in stores in those countries, it's basically gone, a few geeks will sideload.
What does this mean for Mullvad users?
Europe has lost their mind. Like a bunch of Joe Bidens over there, they would arrest you for even posting this on social media over there 😂
