Despite what many rage addicts seem to believe at the moment, it is possible to be glad that Maduro is out and also completely distrust Trump's intentions π

Stop making sense.
My one βreally!β Thing about this is that the country wasnβt invaded, the leader doesnβt seem to have been used as an excuse for a forever war and a trillion dollar process of rebuilding with a staggering decade long racket for govt contractors, all to leave them no better off than they started.
At least none of that appears to be happening. Because they just went in without any collateral damage, nabbed Maduro, and peaced out. Thatβs actually so massively different from any engagement the US has been involved in for the past century that Iβm actually a tiny bit hopeful that this wonβt be the usually disaster that a US military campaign nearly always is.
Agreed. Sprinkling cocaine on an oil tanker to steal oil is better than starting a 20 year oil war.
The infrastructure and oil refineries were already destroyed. Trump just skipped the whole formal war part and went straight to "rebuilding"... and oil contracts.

I mean that should be obvious really. Itβs a little different but itβs not THAT different, lol.
Dozens of dead civilian and military personnel (and still counting) is "any collateral damage"? Of course only US lives count, right?
1. I didnβt know there were lots of citizens dead.
2. Can you go ahead and compare it to every single US engagement for the past 100 years and see how it stacks up?
3. If you instant reaction is taking offense and then making a dumbass projection like βYuO OnLy cARe aBOuT US DeAtHs oBViOuSlyβ over a simple observation then you are only hear to politically masturbate in public and thatβs gross and immature af so kindly GFY π
The whole "we're running Venezuela now" narrative makes me think we are basically replacing a BRICS puppet with a NATO puppet.
The operation itself was incredibly successful and impressive from a military perspective, but I don't see much difference beyond that.
Most likely. Theres no suggestion that the US didnβt do this for the benefit of having a massively oil rich and US friendly nation. It would make zero sense to ever believe any govt would be doing this for any other reason
#3 dude look in the mirror on the immaturity π
What was immature about any of my remarks on this issue? As a response to his being offended, yes I jumped right on his bandwagon. I feel no inclination to be mature with my response to someone being an idiot. If they want to remove that from the conversation Iβll happily join them.
Simp takes a simple observation and the try to write a smart sounding note and then comes up with "uh i didn't know" explanation and spouting profanities. That's your "mature" level. Couldn't expect more.
The whole jumping to conclusions thing "YuO OnLy cARe aBOuT {X}" or "oH sO yOu LiKe {Y}" is what liberal college girls do. Embarassing.
I have lost all patience with the moral offense brigade. My patience meter *instantly* drops to below 20% when they come running in to share their imagined slights with the world like they are owed something.
You SpongeBobed his note π
It's fine to be immature, but calling someone else immature while you're in the act is poor form
Quite the contrary. If someone runs up to you in the playground and slaps you, the proper response is to punch them square in the face and walk away.
The first person was violent and being a bitch, the response was perfectly justified.
βSpongeBobedβ lol, I love this.
I have to agree tho π
Who hurt you Guy? π₯Ί
I just have much, much less time than I used to and have no intention wasting it on morons. I mute and move on.
I love everybody. I love you Guy π§‘
Right? I mean it's great that seizing control over Venezuela's natural resources didn't cost thousands of US kids their life but I think the endgame is the same... there is a lot of money to be made. And as for "reconstruction and fixing the country" how is that working out in Iraq and Afghanistan?
And also expect the future to be even worse than itβs ever been for the people of Venezuela.
And if itβs ever done to the USA by China or Russia weβll all be glad too
It isnt like it can be much worse for Venezuela. Theyre like fuck it roll the dice
In the same way a man would jump out a random window in a room on fire, yes.
Those rage addicts are idiots that should have their phones taken away.
With a comment like that are you sure to be different?
they're installing the WEF young global leader
They're installing someone who will do what Israel wants them to.
same difference honestly
This would get less traction than a bald tire in a mud puddle on regular social media.
I'll take your word for it π
Iβd rather not give them the idea of endorsing regime change
You mean, and give up my precious black and white thinking!? I wouldn't think of it! π
Regardless we should mind our own business. This sets so many precedents that big gov does not need!
