Time for French youth to emigrate to a country that isn't planning on wasting another generation of its young on the battlefields of Europe...

Germany reintroduced mandatory military service in January 2026, with all 18-year-old men required to take a medical exam to assess their fitness for potential military service. The service itself remains voluntary for now, but if the security situation worsens or too few volunteers come forward, compulsory military service could be considered.
