The bummer is that when @npub1ex7m...vyt9 cancelled their mobile money off and on ramps here in Zambia a small but growing group of folks saving in BTC got scared off of using BTC. I know we shouldn't be platform dependent, but it is a bummer to see. These are folks who need to save in small chunks ~$2 at a time, but now they're feeling rugged by @npub1ex7m...vyt9 and worse lost appetite for BTC.

I would love @jack mallers thoughts on this. And if there is anything I can do here on the ground, I am happy to help. I am non technical in the extreme, but would be happy to help in whatever way I am able. I love the freedom and savings that BTC could be here, but we need Lighting to mobile on and off ramps.

Um, it's actually going the reverse way. The government is using Bitcoin as a leverage to keep their fiat money propped up. People that understand cryptocurrency knows that Bitcoin has been dead for years. It's just all the normies keeping it propped up and alive. Bitcoin's on life support. It's just a matter of time before it gets pulled.
