When I see news like this I suspect it is like when faceb*ok no longer required your real name to sign up. They donβt need it anymore, they already know exactly who you are, the surveillance has evolved.

From what I've gathered it's neither completely true or false. Many cameras have been disabled, but not enough to make the whole country change course on the issue (yet)
What I do like is that the response to this post on nostr was positive. I probably got more reactions to this than anything I've ever posted.
Individuals and small groups can have a huge impact on world events. It's up to each of us to set the example we wish to see.

Its a nice dream but unfortunately the cameras remain, and every car driven inside the M25 ring road gets checked. If you haven't logged on to TfL and registered your car, even if your car is compliant and doesn't need to pay any ULEZ charges, then you get fined. Any diesel cars older than 2016 are non-compliant which is why so many tradesmen are pissed.
Godspeed to the Blade Runners. They're doing gods work, but for the sheer scale required to defeat this beast, it is not nearly enough.
