Nostr needs MORE economic activity. Yes, this includes digital media and content creation. And yes, this includes monetizing it. And no, 1-sat zaps aren’t going to cut it. 😂🤷♂️

Do you ever pay for music, movies, photography?
Not really. I like the idea of paying for old movies which I want my kids to watch but I can’t watch it on my TV so it’s just too difficult.
I have tipped quite a few Wavlake musicians but that’s purely because I like it and at the time I felt generous. At other times I’ve felt poorer and less generous. I don’t really consider it paying for something more like I feel I need to support these guys cos I like their music. That’s too subject to my feelings.
If that is your mindset then you should not be surprised when nostr dies for lack of a viable user base due to lack of good content.

It is usually apparent when someone posts purely with zaps in mind. If I’m feeling generous I’ll educate but mostly it’s an insta-block.

Nostr’s real potential will only unlock when there’s meaningful economic activity flowing through it. Content creation, digital media, and all forms of value exchange need proper monetization. Micro-payments shouldn’t just be novelty zaps, they need to stack sats, incentivize creators, and build a sustainable on-chain economy. That’s how the network evolves from a social layer into a true financial layer .

I need to zap more. When I zap, I zap above average, but when I'm busy, I get too lazy to zap.

I believe you have a to be a premium subscriber to use that relay. It works fine for me on both Nostur and Primal.
