Governments trying to kyc/tax all btc will actually lead to remain btc in self-custody and actually spending it instead of converting it into fiat. This would be an ironic consequence ;)

An interesting short read, not very 'hopeful' however. The longer I think about it, the more I think that all money (also crypto) in itself is just f*cked. Bitcoin is just a bit less f*cked than others (by design). 📄.pdf

Microsoft is the last monopolist I find difficult to turn my back on because of Windows, but most others (Google, X, Meta f.e.) are pretty easy to dodge. GrapheneOS, Proton, Nostr and Signal provide great alternatives imo.
