Sometimes life can be difficult and it can feel like there's nothing we can do to make the world a better place. That's a terrible feeling isn't it? Hopelessness. But where can we find hope? I find hope in kindness. I find hope by helping a neighbor and seeing them smile. I find hope when a stranger thanks me for helping them. I think hope is created in our interactions with others. It's the belief that in some unknowable way, our good deeds will carry forward. Do good. Create hope.
Maybe the best way to fight AI taking over our media, is to stop supporting the arts with clicks on ads and subscription fees? Go see a new band. Watch a play. Visit a gallery and talk to an artist. Maybe if we made it more about supporting artists, and less about cammodifying the arts for our convenience, we won’t have to lose one of the things that makes humanity great?
Medical Question
Does anyone with essential tremors have any experience with using a mouse versus a trackball or a trackball mouse? I've developed essential tremors that have been getting slowly worse this last year and I find myself having difficulty sometimes clicking on something like the X that closes your browser. I used a trackball in the past so I'm wondering if going back to one would help? Thanks. (please boost for visibility)
