Is there a Santa who fixes all the stuff you already have rather than bringing new stuff?
I feel like my foss project management work revolves around pushing developers, volunteer or not; to go just a little bit further. Write that test, document that strange code, merge into the branch, get it backported, make sure it's consistant with the rest of the project.
It's the uninteresting stuff that moves a contribution from being "I got this working for me" to "I got this fixed for everyone"

Has anyone ever heard of a phono jack connection detection that works in windows with headphones and a sound system, but only works in linux in the headphones?
This issue breaks my understanding of how phono detection works. How the operating system would have any way to distinguish between the two. And it sounds like some physical weirdness.
Anyone else seen anything like this? Please boost.
