Hey lovelies 🩷 We think we've possibly got a few followers and mutuals who are blind and use some kinds of iOS mobile devices, right? Enquiring because of a random encounter with another plural trans+ being on Reddit, who advised that they're legally blind and had not found any suitably accessible way to access the fediverse. Can anybody advise whether there are any such ways, so we can give them some way or ways to join the friendlier fediverse community? If not, they're stuck largely with Reddit and Bluesky 😅😔 The topic only came up after we advised that we'd found fedi to be much more plural friendly and accepting that most other such places... especially Reddit. You/y'all ever get reminded of a post you've written somewhere, somewhen, simply because somebody liked the post or reacted to it, and find yourself/ves realising how much you do care about others? We frequently minimise our own abilities, particularly our intellectual capacity (or perceived lack thereof relative to so very many others), but then we get reminded of the detailed, several hundred word replies we've written in various places. We do still mostly prefer to socialise on Fedi, but we also try to help folks in some of the few nice(r) subs on Reddit, and we comment under some videos on YouTube even. It's not like we're suddenly going to fully overcome our own struggles with self-deprecation, imposter syndrome, and internalised feelings of worthlessness, but we are trying to allow ourselves to remember that we **do** care about others and that, at least occasionally, we might help somebody or write something with some small degree of insight. **PSA for any trans+ person looking to start, or currently doing, any kind of voice training** **Seattle Voice Lab** has broken their silence over a former employee of theirs (Jimmy Chen), who set up his own voice coaching service called **Trans Voice Lab**.
