Sunshine was in short supply for yesterday's walk through Coire Dubh Mòr.in Torridon. The aim was to head for Coire Mhic Fhearchair and see how far we got. The ford was fine despite all the overnight rain. But the wind was interesting - mostly 5 mph then I'd hear a 25+ mph gust coming and have to brace as it hit a second later. With a worsening forecast we turned around at the big cairn where the path splits.
