TIL that Android automatically loads and transcribes audio attachments in SMS/RCS messages as they arrive, with zero interaction from the user, and loads whatever codecs are necessary to decode the audio file even if they're weird shit like Dolby. absolutely baffling choice (and the initial attack vector for the 0-click RCE chain on Android 9 that GP0 just released)
