The Nostr protocol is technically complete, but socially "unfinished". Its architecture provides the atoms (notes, keys, relays), but does not define the molecules, i.e., sustainable social models. The real work to avoid a niche fate is to build, on top of the protocol, a culture of use and a micro-economy of maintenance that are intuitive and rewarding even for those who don't know what a relay is. The challenge is to invent a decentralised sociality, not just a tool for techies.
