A similar incident happened to me and the other NICU babies in 1971. We were already too sick to go home, and then had to ward off measles in the air. It didn't make the news, probably because that kind of horror just happened 50+ years ago. Scientists and doctors have battled measles back to nearly nothing in the intervening years, and now it's back. I wish nobody had to go through this again.

The Lady Catherine of Darlington would prefer I pet her rather than put away the laundry. I of course must oblige. #CatsOfMastodon #CatsOfInfoSec #Caturday #TheLadyCatherine #CatherineLadyDarlington image

So the neuro-muscular doctor doesn't think it's myasthenia gravis, which at first I took as a positive thing. Then I followed a trail of clues from her notes that led me to some other not-great possibilities. But that's borrowing trouble from the future, so I'll just make my testing appointments and see my main neurologist tomorrow.
Where on the pain scale is crying out, panting for a full minute while clutching the affected part, and sweating on the sore limb only? I'm going to say that's a 9, since I didn't throw up or completely pass out.
