Germany needs a new Trump strategy. In 2025, German car manufacturer Volkswagen lost 8 percent of their car exports due to Trump tariffs, reports Danish Radio P1. Germany tried speaking softly to Trump, and what did they get this week? More Trump tariffs. Pleasing a bully NEVER works. It is time to show Trump that we are united and strong, and his attacks will cost him dearly. Only then will he look for someone else to harass. As the Canadians say: Elbows up! ♥️🇩🇪
This was the weekend Trump destroyed US exports. The left side of the EU Parliament was already against adopting the EU-US trade deal but did not have the majority. Now the deal is dead, as more parties outside the left are furious because of Trump's revenge tariffs towards countries protecting Greenland. Deeply troubling: Pentagon is readying 1500 troops of The 11th Airborne Division. American press believes they are preparing to go into Minneapolis. Trump denies this, and I wonder if there is something even more dangerous afoot. The 11th Airborne is the so-called Arctic Angels of Alaska — the best troops for attacking very cold regions — EXACTLY the troops you would need for an attack on Greenland. Trump tries to bully the world by pressuring countries one by one. If and only if the democratic world organises a united response, he loses. Sell off just 10 percent of US Treasury bonds in a week and watch him fall to his knees.
It makes a lot more sense that Trump wants to annex Canada when you realize he is about to go to war with NATO over Greenland. Once the US is at war with 31 NATO countries, having a free Canada — a NATO country — on the northern border suddenly becomes a security risk. I sincerely hope the American people stops the fascist before he triggers World War 3.
