I was really looking forward to @Jeff Triplett office hours today, and the little bit I was able to be there for was great … but my internet connection has decided to take an early Thanksgiving break and it keeps dropping every few minutes. Techs scheduled to be here on Monday between 1 and 5. 🤞🏻this is an ‘easy’ fix

OK, I think I’ve been able to (with the help of many others) get this figured out. There are a few things that happened to get me where I’m at, but mostly it was me - not paying attention - not reading the uv docs closely enough - me just being silly. I’m going to work on a TIL that I’ll post later today, but tl;dr `uv` doesn’t install pip by default when creating a venv and that was a problem. Thanks to everyone that helped me figure this out! #Python
