In the last 24 hours I’ve lost so much unreclaimable time to our clown car systems. Time I could have been spending with my husband, creating a better space for my kids, or just washing my damn sheets (yes they need it).
Healthcare: “We know your kid, your doctor, and your wallet say yes, but the system says nope.”
Banking: “We accidentally grabbed an extra $12K, but don’t worry, it’ll come back in 4–5 business days, probably, after some totally unavoidable fees and chaos, of course.”

Equal parts bitcoin fanatic, burner soul, ballet lover, and Buffy loyalist.
Curiosity over dogma. Realism with hope. Family and gratitude first.
Sucks at social but lurking to stay in the loop.
Kind of obsessed with the idea of a cedar hot tub in the snow, stars overhead, and under the deck there’s a janky little bitcoin boiler doing all the work while me and my love sip wine and yell about distributed mining. Cozy, but make it cypherpunk.
My first job is my family. I treat caring for my family like caring for my business, I seek advice, try different strategies, and continuously work to strengthen it. It’s my most valuable resource.
Some books I took a lot from were Grit, Atomic Habits, The Secrets of Happy Families, and Decluttering at the speed of life…
I’ve learned a lot, but it never once occurred to me until recently that someone’s love language could be NOSTR….
Never stop getting to know your loved ones.
So last week I responded to someone's silly comment with the gif below, and now I am solely surviving on nasal drip. I think there may be a witch among us.

my repeating ballad..
You said you loved me
But what does that mean?
Would you cry if I were to leave?
In my aching hands
Running down your spine
You said you loved me, how?
Wait for me by the water
On the first rain of June
And I'll be there with ***all the letters I ever wrote
For you, for you****
Let's pack our bags
And ***head to the Rockies, babe
Just you and I
Getting lost in open spaces ****
When you wake
I'll be right there, baby
When you shake
I'll be shaking with you, hon'
And when you get tired of this town
Let me know, and we can go somewhere brand new
'Cause ***when I lay my head to rest
I hope that it's always next to you****
When you run, when you're gone
Oh, ***I'll be waiting for you, dear***
Don't you cry
Know I'm right here, my baby, baby
Know that I
Need you in my life
When the morning comes
Creeping in your bed
Just hold me close
To your flesh
And when you get tired of this town
Let me know, and ***we can go somewhere brand new***
'Cause when I lay my head to rest
I hope that it's always next to you
When you run, when you're gone
Oh, I'll be waiting for you, dear
When you get tired of this town
Let me know, and we can go somewhere brand new
'Cause when I lay my head to rest
I hope that it's always next to you
***Always next to you, baby***
Many moons ago I was walking around in my socks and I stepped on a palmetto bug. I call them that to make them less gross but let’s face it, it’s a giant fucking flying cockroach. (iy from the south yk)
I almost puked from the pop it made underfoot and insides squishing out.
However, for us southerners this is not a tenable dynamic.
So I put in the work. And now when my kid crushes one of these things and flushes it down the toilet with a smile, I know I’m doing it right. They will be independent, strong humans who keep their house clean from infestations.
But of course if there is ever a roach they can’t reach, I will not hesitate to squash it for them, no matter how distasteful it is. Any flying creature really.
Speaking of waves... ocean motions sure seem to come naturally to some math nerds. Keep plugging at way at the #1 mission.
