who is that, on the left. apparently he is a character called "star boy". he's like a... star... boy. usually he's holding a star, perhaps representing the a magi following a star towards the manger. clearly, this is a tiny wizard. we can all see that, correct? https://hell.twtr.plus/media/f1b3026964359b2038d1974085c4671e85528f1f108c13143aab4dad185e74e5.file
it's a great look. it also tells the story of the saint - they bake these special buns with saffron in them, and she brings them down into the catacombs to hiding christians. it implies the real story of christian hiding and persecution, for children but what about... the boys? https://hell.twtr.plus/media/f62827cef4cd99de6233e51f9955c2bd3ce2ecf91c9f4fce802346db4f31a8bf.file https://hell.twtr.plus/media/d9382931f1e5f11785e16f742393f8f758010c7d3d17671b6d34a0caca18c0db.file
today is saint lucy's day. a practice i believe to be swedish, but was adopted into other places later (i know it from waldorf) is women and girls dressing as saint lucy, who wore a crown of candles to light her way down into the catacombs but wait. there's lore. folk DLC: ... https://hell.twtr.plus/media/05e472888de2cb1f32c53b48d7f46ded4d86561b544a3e1f1894304fb64700ab.file https://hell.twtr.plus/media/ace1e919d846b67c31384ff076dde47ea79604a9434c81a45233812652cabc1a.file

looking at the linked products for my stuff on amazon i think with no context for what this is, the look of this item is really noteworthy. baby’s first panopticon. its looking at me. unblinking. does it contain a mechanical soul? feels like a kid in 3000 AD might play with this https://hell.twtr.plus/media/9f383151342a25dc10bcb07288c25651a18550f213dd4413d32ec10b54fb2ecd.file https://hell.twtr.plus/media/3f7eb8458c56f792d8033920e065c867c8864b624853077752e4f32f54e69131.file
this has been the most unexpected aspect of the last few years of my life. a kitten, a baby girl, i never would have connected them over to men in battle, men going to their limit and beyond. but they have no choice. to grow and survive, they enter the domain of cosmic conflict.
an adult man has so much power: if theyre giving their all to something, its a wide vista. its hard to stand anywhere to see it. the small beings are like a microcosm. you can see it all: they push themselves to their limit constantly - real struggle. they are noble, in this way.
as a man (i do not know what its like to be a woman), you enshrine and imagine these life or death struggles. you sense the nobility of giving everything you have to something difficult - but its rare to see a grown man in this state. this is a state small being are often in.
there is a notion in some masculine spheres that to care for small creatures: infants, small animals, is feminine. i can say: its unique to be outside looking in on a being engaged in a total struggle - it becomes irrelevant what the struggle is: climbing, or buttoning a jacket.
