Trump getting derailed by Zionist organizations from "build the wall" into targeting pro-Palestinian immigrants as if that's going to make any sizable dent in the whole illegal immigrant population problem is very reminiscent of what happened to the Know-Nothing Nativist movement after the "Native Americans" let Lewis Charles Levin begin hijacking their movement. Lewis Charles Levin had a passion for making Nativism less about opposing all immigration and everything about opposing "popery."
Thanks to Lewis Charles Levin's political achievements, certain 1848'er immigrant groups who were also anti-Catholic had an easier time assimilating while the Know-Nothings wanted to get into street fights with Irish and German Catholics. Fights they started to lose very badly in the 1850's, then shortly after that they went from Know-Nothings to nada nothings. The Republican Party absorbed them all into the true WASP Yankee project: abolitionism.
In 2016, a salon article was dedicated to comparing McDonalds Trump to Lewis Charles Levin.
.
I highly doubt anyone here read it though or will do so, because Salon is a leftist rag, and no one on here knows who Lewis Charles Levin was anyway.
