@Actually Autistics Ever notice that something has been gone because it just came back, if only briefly? My imagination - a thing that for all my life has kept coming up with mostly impractical ideas, observations or questions whenever I'm not actively engaged in something that occupies my attention - has just upped and left. It came back briefly the other day, and its presence shocked me - I haven't had it there for months. I think this is the tendrils of brain-fog reaching into my innermost psyche. Or something profound like that.
