So we slowly start to see the mechanisms the US under Trump will use to silence and destroy critics or people they deem to be their enemy. From travel bans (Breton, von Hodenberg) to complete isolation from using US American software, banking and payment networks (ICJ/ICC judges and prosecutors). I will continue to untangle my digital life from US hegemony. That's also why I am primarily on the Fediverse, by the way.
That myth that "we" (the elder people) used pencils to put cassettes back in a working state. Here's the truth: pencils don't work for that. They are too thin for the job. After lengthy discussions with some experts, I start to see a way to define and measure #DigitalSovereignty as a combination of three vectors: - Ownership - Control - Trust Ownership can focus on data, hardware, software. Control flows from ownership. Who has authority to grant and limit access, use? Trust should obviously flow from ownership and control as the final checkpoint. With this I can start to sort different approaches and proposals in the DigSov discussion. Maybe it helps you too?

Well. They grew their revenue by 22% and plan to break even in 2027. They crowdfunded emergency funding, planned to be €5M which they had to stop when €20M was pledged within 48 hours. YES!
