Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam.
50. The conservatives are fools: They whine about the decay of traditional values, yet they enthusiastically support technological progress and economic growth. Apparently it never occurs to them that you can’t make rapid, drastic changes in the technology and the economy of a society without causing rapid changes in all other aspects of the society as well, and that such rapid changes inevitably break down traditional values. #Unabomber
Remember that this guy has failed to predict every single Bitcoin bear market, every single one, he didn't get a single one right. When he said we were still going up, we were actually entering hell, and he never got the end of hell right either, so he's a good contrarian indicatorπŸ˜‚. While my position is that 2026 will not be good according to the current liquidity, which is what Willy Woo says, if he says so, it makes me rethink my position. image
Since I started using Bitcoin, banks have blocked my account several times, claiming it was to protect me. This happened years ago when I was using KYC exchanges, but what happened to me the other day was surreal, probably due to the algorithms they use to prevent β€œfraud.” I transfer money from one of my accounts to another, and then from that one to another. Why did I do this? Well, I don't know, I do weird things because I have OCD. The transfer was blocked for fraud, and I had to answer dozens of questions. They literally asked me how many times a day I masturbate. I've never been interrogated like this before. How can it be fraud if all the accounts are in my name? We crossed the friction threshold years ago. Today, operating with Bitcoin has much less friction than operating in the Fiat world, and that includes, for example, using Robosats versus a KYC exchange.
