It seems to take people (in particular fellow Europeans) so long to let go of what have always been myths: “transatlantic partnership for democracy” (always a lie) “US as global police for the rule of law” (read: use force to extort economic benefits) and “we stand up for European values” (only if they serve us economically).
The mask has been off for a while (deportations, army in the interior, DOGE…), Venezuela is another step in the very same direction.
We need anti-fascist resistance NOW.
