As much as I hate collectivism, it's refreshing that its proponents are speaking more explicitly in the US. I think their boldness will eventually be their undoing as more people see the outcomes of collectivism. Historically, the outcomes have been blamed on something else. That's a much harder strategy when politicians openly state their intentions before taking specific actions that make life worse for everyone.
I'm still hyped about Nostr, but I imagine it being like a few men quietly discussing how they're sick of the King years before the American Revolution. That's where I think we are from a global perspective.
