What a surprise! (Not.) Just days after switching our national currency to the euro, the prices have spiked - just like everyone with a brain (like me) warned that they would, while the "experts" (i.e., ideologues) insisted that they wouldn't. As an aside, if the USA gets in a war with Denmark and France with Germany, this will present a serious danger to Putin's health. He might die of laughter.
Just used Claude.ai for some "vibe coding", LOL. Basically, I needed a PowerShell script that did on Windows the equivalent of what a Bash script of mine does on Linux. My knowledge of PowerShell is rather spotty, or I would have done it myself. The good news: Claude eventually managed to do what I wanted. The bad news: 1) It took me a whole afternoon. 2) The code produced was wrong in multiple different ways and did not work as it should. Claude eventually fixed it but I had to prod it every time and tell it what was wrong. It still saved me a lot of time compared to if I had to re-learn the relevant PowerShell parts and figure out how to do it myself. However, while the end result works and does what I want, I still don't trust it. I'd have to examine it line-by-line and check for any stupidities...
