We are all born with a magical power: our instinct.
Instinct helps us solve algebraic problems, recognize a friend in a crowd, defend an argument even when we donβt yet have all the evidence.
It helps us feel Love.
Instinct is a compass.
It is our superpower, and its kryptonite is lies.
As a mother, I try to raise my daughters with complete transparency. Even when it would be easier to approach certain conversations with children through a small lie, truth will help them grow into adults who never doubt what they feel and who trust themselves.

The real year doesnβt begin in January, it begins in March.
Nature sets the timeline, not the calendar: with the spring equinox, light overtakes darkness and biological cycles restart.
In ancient Rome, the year began in March, a month tied to action and renewal, and even the names of the months still reflect that original order.
January is an administrative agreement.
March is a real reset.

The gravest form of despair that can take hold of a society is the doubt that living honestly is pointless.
Courage, a sense of humor, the willingness to question the mediocre axioms of everyday life, and a love for the gratuitous act.
