The Linux circlejerk has a "Great Man/Company theory" problem. Every time there is an issue, they all go around clinging to the one company that "finally" will put some resources into fixing them. Endlessly hyping them up and elevating them to a deity status. It happened with Canonical in the past and how it was "single handedly fixing GNOME". More recently its Valve and how "they have graced us with gaming and fixing Wayland" Like sure I appreciate everyone, but its a team effort you know.
