I’m looking forward to this unconference.

This past week was Art Basel. Took the Brightline train to Miami and in the station a guy and I were talking and he said he tried Nostr but he didn’t understand how to work it, not understanding npubs and stuff. I agreed. Been here for a moment and still trying to get it. I have found a Nostr nest once or twice. People are welcoming . But that convo was an eye opener for me. This was someone who is a normie. Someone who heard about all this stuff called Web3 , got a wallet and heard of these media platforms and “are trying it out” Now he believes in Crypto but like me, the learning curve is steep. I told him, just keep showing up and keep learning. Told him I started with 5 minutes a day of vocabulary. I’m still learning.

Something you may not know about me, when I first came to Damus and had no engagement for months then someone liked a note, I was so excited and knowing better but excited to be seen clicked on their link for free whatever shitcoins & yup wallet drained. Knowing better had a friend help me look through etherscan an learn how to track it still over my head then how to look and licked my embarrassed you know what and kept trucking forward. I knew better and did it anyway in a moment of emotional bliss. So lesson don’t get emotional in financial bullshit. And thinking I knew something (ego) —— thank ostrich for #nostrasia cos I understand more why I didn’t understand what you guys were saying. And found Alby today, so there’s that🫶🏼

I am considered a normie . And I enjoyed listening to #nostrasia I learned a lot and have lots of questions like what the fuck is a NIP? And so many?? How do I find Iris & Primal and Dumpling?? What is that again? Nostrasia got my intrigued. I have been on Lens for awhile and still learning how to navigate it. But this ? I’m enthralled. I want to understand. I am 63, created a project for senior citizens to stay up to date with what’s happening here in this new world. I dove down many rabbit holes since 2016 and this is one that I want to dive down. I even compiled my raw behind the scenes journals into a book . My first year diving down all these rabbit holes. Scammed, harassed, things I accomplished, the good the bad and the ugly. It’s called Web3, AI, & the Metaverse on Amazon. Weird I know but senior citizens need to know what’s happening.
